Background Experience:
Over four decades of experience in Real Estate Brokerage, specializing in Commercial and Investment Real Estate, Leasing, Sales, Management, Consultation and Training. Licensed New York State and Connecticut Real Estate Broker.
For over 20 years I have been a Certified Real Estate Instructor, authoring and teaching over a dozen Commercial and Investment Continuing Education Courses and Programs (see separate sections of site for details). CE Instructor in CT, NJ, NY, OH and RI. I have personally taught over 16,000 agents how to do Commercial and Investment Real Estate Brokerage, plus thousands of other have learned the business through my textbooks.
I have written fourteen books on commercial and investment real estate; five of them for Dearborn Publishing. For the four Dearborn books I developed the instructor training materials (PowerPoint programs, quizzes and exams) to accompany these textbooks which have been used by other instructors to teach commercial real estate throughout the United States.
For eleven years, prior to 12-31-2014, I served as Regional Director in New York and Connecticut for Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT. In this position I developed the Commercial Training Programs utilized by the company today throughout the Northeast. I trained, coached, and supervised an average of 200 commercial agents at any given time.

In addition to teaching continuing education, Ed is available to conduct formal commercial or investment real estate training programs for the benefit of an individual broker, agent, or a group within an office. Various topics are available or custom programs may be developed.

Consulting Services
The “consultant” is in the business of advising and training commercial real estate brokers and agents. In an effort to develop the skills of the “client”, the “consultant” may recommend courses of action, for the “client” to initiate.
Access to Services
“Client” may provide “Consultant” with the names of additional agents who are authorized to request services under this agreement.
Confidential Information
“Consultant” agrees to keep all Confidential Information (other than information which is a matter of public record or is provided in other sources readily available to the public) strictly confidential. However, the “Consultant” may disclose Confidential Information to limited parties on a need to know basis, if in the “Consultant” considered judgment such knowledge will assist in the completion of an assignment or project.
Commercial Real Estate Instruction
The “Instructor” is available to conduct formal commercial or investment real estate training programs for the benefit of an individual broker, agent, or group within an office. Various topics are available; programs run three (3) hours or six (6) hours. In a group situation the “client” shall be responsible to provide a projector and screen and reproduce any material (student handouts) deemed by the “instructor” appropriate for the class.
