 Commercial real estate instructor, Edward S. Smith, Jr., has written another textbook, “Commercial and Investment Real Estate: Tools of the Trade”. The book, published by Dearborn, is ideal for self-study, and will also be used by instructors and schools throughout the country to teach commercial real estate.

He has also written “The Commercial Classroom: Lessons in Commercial and Investment Brokerage” and “Buy the Numbers: Investing in Real Estate”, and has had over 100 article published.

Edward S. Smith, Jr., is currently a Regional Director for Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT. He is a NYS licensed Real Estate Broker, specializing in Commercial and Investment Real Estate, with decades of brokerage experience. He previously had his own Brokerage firm and then served as a “Consultant to the Trade”.

Ed is a currently a Director and Past President of the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors®, the Metro-Long Island Chapter of NYSCAR, and the Long Island Commercial Network (LICN). He has previously served on the Board of Directors of the New York State Association of Realtors®, Long Island Board of Realtors®, the Commercial Industrial Brokers Society (CIBS) and the Real Estate Practitioners Institute at Long Island University.
